He Failed Again

He Failed Again        December 21, 2012

He failed again,
Just like the last time.
He failed again,
And it should be a crime.
Oh, he failed again -
And it came down, down, down.
He failed again,
And he's such a fat clown.

A hard working man
Is eeking out a meager existence,
Doing what he can,
Trying not to commit any sins.
A rich man couldn't be any happier
If he were the richest man alive....
And then, the unfortunate
Grabs him by the balls,
Saying, "I'm squeezing tight,
Won't you swear it bites
Too hard for comfort?"

And he failed again,
Confining him to his quarters,
Tearing him to tatters
Until he can be found.
And he failed again,
Losing his livelihood,
Losing his spirit
In a storm mired in sorrow.

He's bruised and bloodied,
But only skin deep.
He's burnt to toast,
And, indeed, he did weep.
He's in pain up to his eyeballs,
And what did he say?
"Well, I failed again,
And I do so everyday."
