It is Love

It is Love                August 5, 2012

Like a phoenix at night
Lighting the bright black skies,
And the winds howling
From a willful God Seeking love as
His only recourse,
You then know that it is love.
When dancers twirl away at dawn,
When swans cross necks
And guards cross swords,
It is then, upon your arrival,
Your sought-out love is there -
You then know that it is love.
Like a peep in the night
The cross hairs blow -
The wind and the willows
Makes the warm, summer heat chill,
Changing over to autumn, and oh,
Love is there, with you watching
The turning of the leaves.
