From Her Florida North to My Tennessee

From Her Florida North to My Tennessee            October 7, 2013

From her Florida north to my Tennessee,
I recall a quartet of times amid a treasure trove:
Burrowing south of Georgian peaches
Till one is located among only oranges and gators.
Yet of all the pleasantries of Florida divinity,
She is the most beautiful treasure trove
Conceived and birthed upon that fair peninsula:
Her Italian eyes hypnotize thy senses,
And thy eyes quake, always giving way
To her exotic post Mediterranean wiles.

Yet there is more, I say, than meet thy eyes,
As she was chiseled upon the platinum casts
Whilst Aphrodite and Techne argued her features
Only to be altered along with Time's passage.
But to this, I declared to all: She is perfection!
Lovely could she not be anymore on Earth
Even if she be sired of Zeus' spilt seed!
Alas! I am pleased! Perfection is mine!
For to love her gently implies tranquillitati!

From her Florida north to my Tennessee cabin,
Never did she realize our souls shall merge!
Fate delivers love, and love begets happiness,
As my Floridian lover hath endowed me with such!
A love so spectacular, and novels have been authored,
Tho' not one hath the passion as that between us!
The better half to thy soul was borne of Floridian rays,
But she is now amid the beloved mounts in my Tennessee:
Our humble abode till The Lord calls us Home!
