I've been saying for years,

For years and through all the tears,

That this life is not worth it at all.

Yet, I keep going along,

Singing the same ole song,

Towing the company line

And getting screwed by the boss man.

But then, I look at your picture,

And I feel happy, a sense of joy.

I do this each and every day

Because of you.

 

Oh, I want you to know

That you're the only one I love so,

That you're the one for whom

I fight the good fight each day.

I said I tow the line

For the company each and every time

For you, forever and always.

 

I find it impossible, though,

To remain happy in this life

Without you by my side.
