A Fine Line Between Love and Hate April 13, 2006
The stars will surely shine tonight
As they gear up for a storybook ending.
Two lovers say, "Cheese!"
And exchange a kiss that will surely tell
Of their intentions in the timeless fiasco,
And though there is a fine line
Between love and hate,
I think I know which is on top.
They say true intentions
Never kiss and tell,
That only conjoined hearts reveal,
But I have to admit
This sure looks funny
From this chair in which I sit.
I look into their eyes to tell the story
Of the march to human glory.
They rise from their seats in their formations
Along a fine line between love and hate.
Hand-in-hand, they leave the restaurant
After the payment to the garcon.
They exchange kisses, then a slight shove,
Then she swings, followed by a feign by the guy,
Concluded by a cascade of laughter,
Thus ending all debates
Over which side of the divide is stronger.
