Breathless September 22, 2010
I see your curvature,
Your aperture, baby,
The arch of your spine.
I see your long legs gaining ground,
And I know suddenly
That I'm breathless as all get-out.
I see your cascading hair,
Such beauty is exceedingly rare -
Oh, my, my!
I see those pouting lips
That could suck me dry,
And I'm breathless in the sky!
I see you standing on your own two feet,
Such elegance in subtle doses.
Who would have thunk it?
I see those darting eyes
That could run me through
And make me breathless to an end.
But most of all, I see you whole,
Such magnificence on the eyes of the beholder,
And that person is me.
I see a heart of gold,
A kindred spirit oh-so bold.
You make me breathless,
And you hold the key to my ignition.
