Glasses

Glasses                             November 20, 2008

Holding the ear piece is like sweet ecstasy,
Rubbing the smooth metal with its grooves.
Blindness, unfortunately, is the main foe,
For at this time, the researcher
Hasn't the major resource on his nose
Until now, when time past
Collides with the apparently uncertain future,
And now, the test of the nose pieces,
So proving to be steadfast,
Preventing the body from sliding.
A certain lukewarmness besets them
From their lubby-dubbying with the nose,
And the researcher thinks to himself,
"What a pervert I am!"

As stated before, vision supplants blindness,
And does in so many ways.
Before he placed his glasses on his head,
His eyes were lying to him,
Lying about the world and what it beholds.
Now, he can witness the truth
And its wisdom,
And even comprehend the subtler points
Of non-sexual seduction.
