Leftist Rags

Leftist Rags                             September 25, 2008

A bottle of Windex
Further smudges the screen,
If you're like me when you clean, anyhow.
Open up the pages,
And read what you will.
Read all the bullshit and then make an ass of yourself.

Leftist rags are flying around like leaves
Because everywhere you look,
There's a God damn tree standing there.
I don't know if I'll survive,
For the ones before me
Don't mesh too well.

A can of Pledge smells fresh
And even lemony, too,
Trying to make you see
The dust are particles of smog.
Wattery eyes? You can't see?
They say they're burning,
And how can you pee?

Leftist rags are flying around like leaves
Because everywhere you look,
There's a God damn tree standing there.
I don't know if I'll survive,
For the ones before me
Don't mesh too well.

We should work so much harder
And pledge allegience to the state.
We should just give it away
Before they just take it away.
I don't know, but I read one time
Something Ben Franklin said:
"A penny saved is a penny earned."
Ol' Ben lived in a good time.

Leftist rags are flying around like leaves
Because everywhere you look,
There's a God-damn tree standing there.
I don't know if I'll survive,
For the ones before me
Don't mesh too well.

There'll be peace in the Middle East,
And hippies ruling the world.
Our safety is a strategic retreat
If we ever face the Red Bear.
But I digress, for I have no voice.
I can vote my conscience
And not be heard.
A pacified nation in bold print,
But dead babies are in the trash....
