Wonderment

Wonderment

Like a spring time virgin,
I gazed with wonderment.
She played me like a mandolin,
Folk singin' with me through.
Life never is easy,
And it never is all sad,
But when we played that tune
With my kazoo,
O', how my love grew
For that sweet girl, my doll.
My love, from me to you.

Hitchhikin' from town to town,
Like skippin' stones,
Just two hearts from hell,
And yet, divine design.
Vagabonds day and night,
And hotels annointed
With our remnants.
O', doesn't that ring a bell
Of things in your mind?

We're just two lost souls
Connected like cobwebs,
The paper folds twice, triangularly,
And we meet in the corner.
The smell of amorous glow,
That pharmone mist saves me....

And if but only for a moment
The sun rises and sets,
I only want to see her,
And I'll then commence hibernation.
And if but only for a moment
Life is an explosion, then ceases,
Let her be the Big Bang,
And let there be no more.
