Himalayan High

                                  Himalayan High                              

It takes so much to travel so far,

To the farthest reaches of our green Earth.

I don't know if I'll ever make it or not.

But then, so be it;

I'm going to try or die,

For reality, for me, has stepped in.

My trip to the metaphysical realm

Has stepped in to take control;

Its shining light will point the way

For me to go.

It might take me to a Himalayan high,

The greatest high there is.

It might take me so much closer to Heaven,

Or keep me but a leap away from Hell.

Oh well! Life short-changes us that way;

It's an unpredictable ride.

I guess to make it,

I'll take Brahma's side,

And let it all manifest itself.
