(I'll Always Carry Your Torch) Forever and a Day

(I'll Always Carry Your Torch) Forever and a Day
Sunshine falls down upon me,
Shines down on you, baby,
And when I see you, the light,
I just cry. Yes I cry.
Tears trickle down my face,
And where they'll fall, tis no disgrace
Because they're happy. Yes, happy.

And when we kiss, what an exchange!
So natural a process, our lips engage,
Yet, it's so much more than purely physical.
Yes, so much more.
My hand brushes your hair, so soft and fair.
We live in the moment now sans a care,
And yet we are so cognizant.
Yes, so cognizant.

No matter where you go on this globe,
If you're away from me when I need you so,
You'll remain in my heart for all time.
Yes, for all time.
And no matter what happens throughout all time,
If you're here or there, or if you die,
I'll always carry your torch through the course of time.
Yes, through the course of time. Forever and a day.

You are my champion, as I am yours,
My heart knows no ills, for you have all the cures.
With you in my life, what else is there to sustain me?
Yes, what else indeed?
