My Heart (Hasn't Got You)

My Heart (Hasn't Got You)

My heart yearns for you,
That much is true.
My heart cries hard
Because it hasn't gotten you.
My heart won't be satisfied
Until its master is complete.
My heart hurts bad
Because it hasn't got you.

My mind knows the heart,
And the heart speaks true.
My minds knows the heart
Still hasn't gotten you.
My mind will ache
And then it will cry,
But my mind knows the heart hurts
Because it hasn't got you.

The wind blows hard
Across the rolling plains,
And it whistles the message:
Your heart hasn't gotten her.
The wind has a pitch
That's feverishly high,
And it can't be quelled
For my heart hasn't got you.

My gut feels a pain
That won't go away.
My gut knows this feeling
Because the heart hasn't gotten you.
My gut will tighten up
Into a big ol' ball,
And it won't ever unwind
Till the heart's finally got you.
