Burden of Love June 17, 2004
When I first saw those diamond eyes,
I knew that love was true.
When I see that glowing face,
It sparked a passion true.
I felt the burden of love,
And it was falling rapidly upon me.
When we approach and first held hands,
I saw our spirits rise,
And when we leaned and stood and delivered,
Love's threshold doped me,
And I felt the burden of love
Falling rapidly upon me.
She was God's gift to me.
That was plain for me to see.
We're together now,
Joined together, forged as one.
And I felt the burden of love,
And it's a feeling I'm willing to bear.
